Target: University students at Kwansei Gakuin University
Number of respondents: (11)
(Summary) Students answered 10 questions about reading books.
(Results)
Graph#1 shows that respondents who like reading books are a large part. In fact, 45.5 % of responding "yes", 36.4 % of responding "so-so", and 18.2% of responding "no". These results that most people do not like reading books were not surprising.

Graph#2 shows that the best book that people like reading is comic books. This result is not surprising because comic books are very famous and popular in Japan. Also, the novel is the second most popular among people.

Graph#3 shows that "just interesting" is the primary reason for reading books among people. Also, "interested in the content" is the second reason for reading books. This means that people read books to have fun.

Graph#4 shows that the average number of times people read a book in a week is between zero and one. This means that people do not people don't spend that much time reading books.

Graph#5 shows that most people had read the book as recently as May or June. However, some people haven't read the book in over a year. More people still read books these days.#5

Graph#7 shows that slightly more people read books outside of class. In fact, 54.5% of respondents "yes", and 45.5% of respondents "no". This means that the difference in the percentage of people who read books outside of class and those who don't is not large.

Graph#8 shows that the proportion of those who read books less often and those who didn't read books less often is the same. In fact, 36.4% of respondents "yes", 36.4% of respondents "no" and 27.3 % of respondents "unknown". From the graph, it can say that the frequency of books reading varies from person to person.

Graph#9 shows that the difficulty in reading books among people is a lack of time. Also, lack of money is another reason people don't read books. This result is not surprising because many students are busy and they don't have enough money.

(CONCLUSION)
From this survey, some interesting facts about students' reading are resulted in. These results would be useful to encourage students to increase their reading opportunities.
It was surprised that 80% students likes to read books that I unexpected! I think reading books is important because expand new knowledge and makes new way of thinking.
